Market Leading Landfill Diversion
An AnaeCo™ Plant achieves landfill diversion rates of 75% or more by maximising the recycling of the organic material and recyclable metals, plastics and glass contained in MSW. This is significantly higher than comparable systems. The benefits of higher landfill diversion include:

The AnaeCo™ System represents a higher order approach to waste management by adhering to the accepted philosophies of the Waste Hierarchy: maximising materials recycling, organics recycling and optimising energy recovery.
AnaeCo’s patented DiCOM™ bioconversion cycle uniquely combines aerobic and anaerobic in-vessel processing of organics, producing a mature organic fertiliser product and biogas over a short 21 day cycle. The highly efficient process and vertical DiCOM™ vessel design mean that the plant size required for any given volume of waste to be treated is small. This results in higher asset utilisation and reduced capital and operating costs.
Small Plant Footprint, Modular and Scalable
AnaeCo™ Plants have a small footprint (0.10 - 0.12 m2/ tonne) are modular and scalable upwards from 60,000 tpa in 20,000 tpa increments. The small plant footprint reduces land requirements and makes the technology suitable for transfer station retrofit or greenfield siting in urban locations. Modularity allows for additional capacity to be added as needed providingthe capability to accommodate increased waste supply over the long-term
Higher Quality Outputs
In addition to biogas and recyclable materials a quality, stabilised and mature organic fertiliser is produced. It can be considered a higher quality by-product than traditional MSW composting technologies ensuring landfill diversion, wider potential application and no requirement for investment in post processing or maturation.
